Jeffrey Goffman is the Founder & Managing Partner of ACK Capital Partners, LLC.
Jeffrey Goffman was the Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Oncology Network, LLC (“ION”) which he founded in 2008. ION is a national oncology company that provides management services to its physician and hospital partners. ION owns 51 oncology centers in partnership with approximately 300 physicians and 20 hospitals including some of the most prestigious healthcare systems in the US (HCA, Steward, Northwell), and more than $230 million in revenues, $40 million in EBITDA and approximately 500 employees. ION provides operations oversight, revenue cycle management, accounting, IT, purchasing, compliance and HR support services. Mr. Goffman led ION through a recapitalization in 2018 with Silver Oak Services Partners, LLC, buying out the previous ION private equity owners that included Capricorn Investment Group and Comvest Group. Thereafter, he successfully implemented a growth strategy with an additional 2019 recapitalization and the acquisition of two companies that more than tripled the size of ION.
Mr. Goffman was previously the Chief Executive Officer of OnCURE Medical Corp. (“OnCURE”). OnCURE was one of the largest providers of outpatient radiation oncology care in the United States. OnCURE’s investors during Mr. Goffman’s leadership included MedEquity, Halpern Denny, Crossbow Ventures and Mercurius Fund, as well as Merrill Lynch Capital. Mr. Goffman grew OnCURE from its inception in 1998 to over $130 million in revenues with $32 million in EBITDA with 40 centers owned and managed nationally affiliated with approximately 100 physicians. Mr. Goffman sold OnCURE in 2006 with returns to his investors of up to 4x invested capital.
Mr. Goffman previously served on the board of directors of Affiliated PET Systems, LLC, (“APS”) a private company that provided PETCT services in the Washington D.C. area. APS sold its centers in 2015.
Mr. Goffman was the Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Diagnostic, Inc. (“USD”), a leading consolidator of diagnostic imaging facilities. Mr. Goffman took USD public in 1994, and from inception until 1997 Mr. Goffman grew USD to 120 centers in 19 states and over $225 million in revenues.
Mr. Goffman is an inactive licensed Certified Public Accountant, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford. Mr. Goffman was inducted into the Barney School of Business Alumni Hall of Fame in 2014.
Mr. Goffman is a member of the board of directors of several non-profit organizations including the American Cancer Society’s CEO’s Against Cancer and CureDuchenne.
